20 Aug The Truth About Homosexuality
GAY MARRIAGE IS SIN.
HOMOSEXUAL BEHAVIOR IS SIN.
If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman both of them have committed an abomination. (Leviticus 20:13)
HOMOSEXUAL BEHAVIOR HAS ETERNAL CONSEQUENCES
Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God….but such were some of you. (I Corinthians 6:9-11)
IS HOMOSEXUAL BEHAVIOR GENETIC?
NO. Beside every attempt to prove so being a massive failure, the scripture above proves it is not genetic. If it were genetic, then so would fornication, idolatry, adultery, covetousness, etc. all have genetic origins as they are all listed together in the previous Scripture. The scripture states, “but such were some of you”. Past tense. Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard its spots? (Jeremiah 13:23). Now that’s genetic. The other is behavior and thousands of formerly practicing homosexuals will testify to this truth. So who’s right? Man or the Bible? All Scripture is given by inspiration of God for reproof and for correction. (II Timothy 3:16) Let God be true and every man a liar. (Romans 3:4)
IS HOMOSEXUAL BEHAVIOR WORSE THAN OTHER SINS?
No and Yes. No in that all have sinned (Romans 3:23) and one who violates even one part of God’s laws, is guilty of violating all of God’s laws. (James 2:10).
Yes in that no other sin is called good, natural and healthy. No one calls murder, stealing, cheating or lying good, normal, natural and healthy. We don’t have the Future Tax Cheaters of America in schools, but we have all sorts of gay/lesbian clubs with faculty sponsors. We don’t have the Los Angeles Wife Beaters Parade but we have the LA Gay Pride parade. We don’t have Dead Beat Dads for Christ but we have many churches advocating and “blessing” that which God calls an abomination. Today “evil” is called “good” and “good” is called “evil”.
CHURCHES THAT ALLOW SUCH SIN EMBRACE APOSTASY
For certain men have crept in unnoticed, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ (Jude 4). Woe to those who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness. (Isaiah 5:2).
If your pastor won’t be part of the solution, then he’s become part of the problem.
If your church isn’t making a difference, then it may be time for a different church.
